Midfielder (18) signs his first professional contract
The 18-year-old Jesse Sneijder has signed his first professional contract with FC Utrecht. The attacking midfielder is now bound to Utrecht until mid -2028. His contract also contains an option to expand the partnership with another year.
Jessy Sneijder transferred from DHSC to the FC Utrecht Academy. The talented midfielder played for FC Utrecht under the 19S in the 2024/2025 season. He has recently been transferred to Young FC Utrecht, with which he will play in the Kitchen Champions Division next season.
“This is a dream come true,” says Jessey Sneijder. “Since I became Academy at the FC Utrecht, I have worked hard to achieve this moment. Signing my first professional contract feels like a reward, but also the start of a new step. I want to continue to develop in the first place and play in the first place with Young FC Utrecht next season.”
