Paulo Costa's career in the UFC is full of his ups and downs and his relationship with Dana White has evolved since the beginning.
The coming Saturday, Paulo Costa returns to the Octagon for the first time since his loss against Sean Strickland last June at UFC 302, when he compete against Roman Kopylov.
Prior to his return to action, the Brazilian is already looking ahead to his potential next fight, with which hunter he wants to fight on the rumors of the UFC in the White House next year.
However, before he can consider fighting at potentially the largest MMA event ever, he must pass through the difficult test that Kopylov will present.

Costa explains why he didn't like at the start of his UFC career
'The UFC career of the GUM is full of ups and downs, and after having made an impression with his first five outings, he received a central weight shot against Israel Adesanya in 2020.
Nevertheless, he ruined the biggest fight of his career after he had drunk a bottle of wine before his fight, then to set up one of his worst versions.
In anticipation of his fight in Louisiana, Costa explained why he did not like UFC boss Dana White during the start of his term of office in the promotion.
“I support Dana White at the moment. In the day I didn't support him. In the day we had some beef, not that he did really bad things to me, but I was a bit sad and angry. The first six fights on my contract were terrible, I was paid unfairly,” Costa told Ariel Helwani.

Paulo Costa could re -introduce the middleweight title interview
Although he had suffered back-to-back losses, Costa was able to re-introduce the middleweight title interview this Saturday with an impressive victory over the Russian.
On UFC 319, Dricus Du Plessis will defend his title against Khamzat Chimaev and Costa is hopeful 'Borz' wins the title so that they can book their previously planned fight.
However, the Brazilian striker will probably have to score a different victory and build a little more momentum if he beats Kopylov.
