Arsenal tries to overcome a final towbar while they want to get a deal for Viktor Gyokees over the line, while Sporting has drawn up a productive replacement
The potential replacement of Sporting CP for Viktor Gyokeres has appeared the Arsenal target while the Gunners want to overcome a last-minute transfer coupling. The Premier League giants are getting closer to landing their number one target of the summer despite the sporting play of financial hardball.
Mirror Football understands that the Gunners have made an improved offer that gives the player's agent a hugely reduced compensation. Although the transmission of £ 69 million is still expected to be completed, the Portuguese exhaust record reports that the clubs are at odds about the nature of the add-ons.
It is claimed that sporting will that the add-ons can be 'easily reached', while Arsenal 'opposes this request'. In the meantime, Gyokeres, who is desperate to become a member on the side of Mikel Arteta, is not showing up for the training camp of Sporting in the Algarve.
According to reports in Portugal, his teammates were not surprised by his apparent strike action, which brought him with a fine. However, the club still reaches life for life without the former striker of Coventry City, whose behavior is in contrast to the player who is able to replace him at Sporting, Almeria's Colombian forward Luis Suarez.
Sports striving for Suarez is well advanced. In contrast to Gyokeres, however, he continues to train with the Spanish Segunda Division side in 'Total Normality', a Bola reports. Images came up this week of the 27-year-old, who scored an impressive 31 goals last season in 43 games and training alongside his Almeria colleagues.
The move from Suarez to Portugal is expected to be tied up once Arsenal has completed the signing of Gyokeres. Away from the Saga of Gyokeres, Arsenal will remain active on the transfer market this summer, in which Valencia defender Crisquea Mosquera arrives in London prior to his expected movement.
The 21-year-old Spaniard will offer William Saliba and Gabriel coverage in the heart of the guns. It is understanding that Arsenal is hopeful for Mosquera, who played 41 times for Valencia last season, will be completed before they leave for their tour through Singapore and Hong Kong on Saturday.
Chelsea Vooruit Noni Madueke's transfer of £ 52 million is also in the final phase. Mosquera, who is expected to sign a first fee of £ 13 million with performance-related add-ons, and Madueke would be the fourth and fifth summer signs of the club.
Denmark -midfielder Christian Norgaard, Spain International Martin Zubimendi and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga have already been confirmed. New sports director Andrea Berta has not wasted time improving the Arsenal team as Arteta Eyes a First Premier League title in more than two decades.
Gabriel and Myles Lewis-Skelly have also put pen on paper about new contracts in the low season, with a long-term extension for teen Ethan Nwaneri who was also in the pipeline.
