Montenegro -Outfit FK Arsenal Tivat has been prohibited for 10 years, with one player and one employee forbidden for life after a UEFA research into match fixing
UEFA has handed over a 10-year ban to Montenegro-Outfit FK Arsenal Tivat and gave them a fine of £ 434,000 on integrity problems and match fixing accusations during a conference competition match.
The club is not allowed to participate in a tournament by UEFA -Governed – including the Champions League, Europa League of Conference League – until the 2034-35 season on the first of all.
A number of players and employees were also struck with prohibitions after the investigation.
Defender Nikola Celebic and director Ranko Krgovic have both received lifelong forbidden from all football -related activities and have asked that FIFA is expanding the ban worldwide.
Captain Cetko Manojlovic has received a prohibition of ten years, together with defender Radule Zivkovic, goalkeeper Dusan Puletic and officially Milan Vignjevic.
In the meantime, goalkeeper Christos Psomiadis has been hit with an eight -year ban and club officer Goran Janjusevic has been banned for six years.
UEFA said that it had taken his decisions “after an investigation and disciplinary proceedings against FK Arsenal Tivat and other persons in connection with alleged violations of the UEFA -Disciplinary regulations (DR) during the 2023/24 UEFA Conference Tivat matches between Alashkert FC and FK Arsenkert FC and FK Arsenkert FC and FKTER”.
FK Arsenal Tivat and Armenian Side Alashkert played each other in a two-legged first qualifying round of the 2023-24 Conference League.
The two teams started the first match 1-1 in Armenia on July 13 after the first half strike by Julian Montenegro was canceled by Vitali Ustinov.
But a week later there was a completely different score when Alashkert cried against a 6-1 thrashing from Tivat, so that a 7-2 aggregated victory was sealed.
Agdon Menezes had scored a hat trick to give Alashert the benefit before Boban Dordevic withdrew one to bring the night 3-1.
Yeison Bossa Racins then made it four before Serob Grigoryan and Annan Mensah made a demolition track with a strike in every stop time.
