Fight fans are not happy with the last attempt by former UFC title holder Tony Ferguson to break his long losing skid.
After he knew apart with the UFC earlier this year, the former interim title holder Tony Ferguson will make his professional boxing debut under the Misfits Boxing Banner.
The 40 -year -old Ferguson will try to achieve his first combat sport victory in more than six years when he is confronted with social media influencer Salt Papi at Misfits 22. Ferguson and Salt Papi will fight for the MFB -Interim -Mils Varris by Foreign Title and Gluk on MFB -Interim.
While Ferguson is starting this new chapter of his fighting career, his fighting fans are not happy with his decision to continue to compete.

Tony Ferguson vs. Salt Papi attracts hard reviews after announcement from Misfits
Ferguson lost each of his last eight UFC fights, including his most recent defeat against Michael Chiesa in UFC Abu Dhabi last August. His current slip started with a crooked defeat against Justin Gaethje for the interim light weight belt of the UFC on UFC 249.
During his constant losing streak, Ferguson raised a lot of damage, including in a front-kick knock-out defeat against Michael Chandler on UFC 274. Ferguson, one of the biggest fan favorites in UFC history, hears from some of his most dedicated fans after his return fight was announced this week.
Fans went to social media to express their displeasure in the latest comeback attempt by Ferguson.
“That's so sad Tony, please don't go along with that joke. You were a great !!!” A fan wrote on X.
“WTF are we doing?” said another.
“Massfits is really bad, right?”

“Well … it was nice to know Ferguson.”

Ferguson has not won since Donald Cerrone defeated Doctor's Stoppage on UFC 238. His current losing skid was preceded by 12 consecutive victories, including victories over former title holders Anthony Pettis and Rafael Dos Anjos.
Ferguson was linked to an MMA fight with Dillon Danis under the nowed Global Fighting League banner before the game was canceled. Danis and Ferguson could still end up potentially in Misfits -boxing when Ferguson is the victory in his return.
Luke Rockhold returns against Darren to the pro -box debut
In the meantime, Rockhold and to Headline turns in an intriguing matchup at Misfits Boxing 22. Rockhold returns to combat sports after going out of kickboxing striking Joe Schilling on Karate Combat 45 last year.
Rockhold has had mixed results since the farewell of the UFC after a loss for Paulo Costa on UFC 278. He lost to Mike Perry at Bare Knuckle FC 41 after stopping halfway through the second round.
Rockhold and Till will fight for the MFB Bridgerweight title.
