Dustin Poirier was surprised by pension letters from a few important people during the interview.
Comedian Theo von, the American top team coach Mike Brown, his old manager, and a former training partner, all put pen on paper to express their feelings about the retirement of the UFC -Superster.
Although there were a few smiles, Poirier spent most of the unique eight-minute video-fighting tears.
The archenemy of Conor McGregor tried to cover his emotional state by bending his head. Yet it was clear that Poirier was crying as he sniffed and tears out of his eyes.
The resident of Louisiana was upset to continue reading a letter from one of his oldest allies.
Poirier asked someone off-camera: “Do I have to continue?”
“I want to keep this,” he added, before he brought the letter session for a premature end.

Before he was overwhelmed by an emotional surprise, Poirier revealed how he will beat Holloway on UFC 318.
“In my mind I get his timing early, hit him,” he predicted in the UFC 318 Countdown Show.
“I hit him with shots that hurt him, miss him, [and] Let him pay by being better that night.
'He is a great hunter, but [on] July 19, I'm better. “
