‘That’s my goal’ … Dustin Poirier looks to answer no. 1 concern about Max Holloway at UFC 318

Max Holloway may never be the same again after fighting UFC champion Ilia Topuria.

It is not every day that you see a UFC head event where both hunters come from a loss. Dustin Poirier went 0-3 in undisputed title fights in his last performance against Islam Makhachev on UFC 302.

Poirier almost retired after losing the fifth round entry, but extended his retirement until this weekend, where he UFC 318 opposite BMF champion Max Holloway in New Orleans, Louisiana, the home of Poirier will be the home of BMF.
