INSANE! HJK lost 0-4 in first leg but flipped the script with 5-0 to qualify

After losing 4-0 to NSí Runavík in the first stage, HJK today won a stunning 5-0 victory, recording 60 shots and scoring a 94th minute goal to force extra time before the job was finished to continue to the next phase of Conference League.

HJK was already criticized and the team was mocked last week because of his performance after the 0-4 loss of the team for the birth city of Team Runavik on the Faröer.

In the second game on Thursday in Helsinki, Runavik started from a lead that could have missed few teams, but only missed Runavik. HJK won 5-4 in the extension and went on to the next round.

Runavik's Fabian Ness was the anti-hero of his team after receiving a red card in the 15th minute. With one man benefit, the superiority of HJK became clear.

Lucas Lingman scored the opening goal of HJK in the 18th minute. Alexander Ring, Santeri Hostikka and Giorgos Antzoulas scored in the second half. Hostikka scored the winning goal at the start of the extra time in the 93rd minute.

With their victory, HJK avoided quite a bit of shame. The victory also brought HJK a few hundred thousand euros in bonus income.

HJK needs three more victories in a row to continue to the group stage of the Conference League.

HJK Official celebrated their beautiful overdoors to X:

Only five other parties have ever destroyed a shortage of four goals in the first leg in the UEFA competition:

🇷🇺 Zenit vs Dinamo Minsk (2018/19)

🇪🇸 Barcelona vs PSG (2016/17)

🇪🇸 Real Madrid vs Gladbach (1985/86)

🇷🇸 Partizan vs QPR (1984/85)
