UFC 318 becomes the 32nd and last walk from Dustin Poirier to the Octagon.
The former UFC -Interim -light weight champion will undoubtedly perish as one of the greatest light weights of all time when everything has been said and done, but the story is not yet finished.
Poirier's pension fight against BMF champion Max Holloway in New Orleans, Louisiana, on a special map that is specially made for the Lafayette resident.
Poirier will also be accompanied by rapper Lil Wayne during his strike, who could wrap the belt around him for his home crowd.
UFC 318 is an emotional moment for Poirier, who cried letters earlier this week.

After UFC 318, four BMF title fights will have taken place in the UFC.
The 'Bathdest Motherf -' was made in 2019, whereby the promotion was awarded his first champion in Jorge Masvidal after his TKO via Doctor Stoppage victory over Nate Diaz on UFC 244.
Subsequently, the title was cheerful years later in 2023 when Justin Gaethje and Poirier the BMF title on UFC 291 commemorations.
Holloway is the newest BMF champion, who has conquered Gaethje's belt in a buzzer-knocking knockout on UFC 300.
If Holloway Poirier beats, he would be the first hunter to successfully defend the title. 'Blessed' could possibly defend the belt against Charles Oliveira or Dan hooker, as some have suggested.
However, if a victor Poirier retires as the BMF champion, this can no longer mean BMF title fights.
