After an extremely tough few months, the former UFC star Ben Askren seems to be happy on the way to recovery.
A few months ago it was shockingly announced that former UFC star Ben Askren was in a critical condition after a serious Staph infection.
Unfortunately it got worse when the indigenous Iowa sustained pneumonia and did not respond. It was then revealed that Askren needed a double lung transplant to survive, in what an extremely emotional situation was.
Fortunately, however, Askren received a life -saving double lung transplant with the financial help of Dana White, after his insurance did not cover the operation and he is now on his way to recovery.

“You, update number three, it is going pretty well. I am starting to put some weight back, but I had a few set -backs, I really hoped that I would go home today, what my birthday is, but it was pushed back because we had some background.
“I had a procedure that did not work, but when one that worked, so it took a little longer than I thought. So I was really disappointed this morning … Yes I am disappointed that I did not come today, but maybe it is the best.
“I died, and I get better and I will see my family soon,” Askren continued in a video on his social media.
