On Saturday, the UFC returns to Louisiana for a huge UFC 318 event that is characterized by a BMF title fight between Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier.
Prior to the Blockbuster event, the most important point of discussion 'De Diamant' has surrounded and how it is the last fight of his career.
And before that, Poirier has let his emotions flow because he has received pension letters from some of the most influential figures during his career.

UFC 318 -star frustrated with UFC commentators who check stories
UFC boss Dana White admitted that he made the UFC 318 card specifically for Poirier, giving him the broadcast he deserves after such an incredible career.
And with that, the UFC boss has compiled a strong map from top to bottom, including some exciting prospects such as Ateba Gautier, as well as some fan favorites such as Kevin Holland.
However, a fight that goes under the radar is a featherweight collision between heavy than IgE and former Bellator champion, Patricio Pitbull.
Pitbull made his long-awaited UFC debut earlier this year on UFC 314, where he was completely dominated by Yair Rodriguez.
Ige, on the other hand, scored a momentum that the victory had stopped the impressive Sean Woodson and returned to the winning column after losing back-to-back.
Unfortunately for '50k' IgE, however, the interruption was protested by both the fans and the commentators on the broadcast, who did not sit well with IGE who claimed that the commentators check the story with their bias.
“As far as the moment is concerned, I didn't feel that it robbed my moment because I was there, the crowd burst out, the referee stopped the fight and I embraced it,” Ige told Mmafighting.
“When I went back to the press room, the media brought it up, the controversy, I thought:” Which controversy? ” 'And then I went online and read the reactions and then you hear the comment.
“They certainly played a major role in that, and they just say what they see right away, yes it is a bit bad because it robs me a bit … People hear that and it waves their own perspective. It sucks,” Ige continued.
IGE could score one of the biggest victories of his career at UFC 318
Although IGE is generally considered an exciting hunter in the featherweight division, he never fully received in the candidate in the division.
However, a victory over the Brazilian veteran on Saturday evening would demonstrably be the biggest victory of his career, taking into account the awards from Pitbull.
