Joe Rogan thinks that Jon Jones's decision to retire earlier this summer was the right one, although it didn't take too long.
Dana White announced that Jones was the retirement at a press conference in Baku last month, after which the legendary double -language champion confirmed that he was ready. The move enabled Tom Aspinall to become undisputed heavyweight champions without actually beating Jones.
However, within a few weeks Jones confirmed that he reintroduced the test pool after learning an event that took place next summer. The UFC brings the Octagon to the Witte House Law for the 250th birthday of America, organized by President Donald Trump.
Joe Rogan believes that Jon Jones was right to retire from UFC
When Jon Jones retired last month, it left fans to a certain degree of disbelief. He had just eliminated Stipe Miocic brutally and seemed to be on his way to a final fight against Aspinall that was invoiced as the largest in heavyweight history.
In the last episode of the Joe Rogan experience, however, the Octagon Joe Rogan veteran voice noticed at that age could be one of a number of factors that pension make the right call. “I think Jon has just decided to retire legitimate,” Rogan explained.
“I think he was partying a lot, he had a long career and at some point you have to say 'enough'. On 37, heavyweight champion of the world, it is probably a good move to retire. He has one loss but that is a bull – loss.”
Jon Jones Plant Comeback only a few days after emotional pension
Despite his emotional pension report, the Jones took a matter of weeks before he was back in the test pool and prepared for a comeback. He even seems open to the potential of fighting Aspinall, as long as he can do the following summer on the Witte House Lawn.

It is expected that Aspinall will defend its newly beaten title for the first time later this year against number one competition Ciryl Gane. He also noted that he will be an active champion and could sneak in another defense if he would win between then and next July.
There has been a story in the sport that Jones 'dived' a fight with Aspinall, which he and White both denied. And he can eventually fight against the Brit to get his wish to compete on the Witte House lawn.
