Lionel Messi rediscovered his scoring touch with two goals when Inter Miami bounced back from the defeat to complete a 5-1 Drubbing of the New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer on Saturday.
Messi's red-hot season was startled on Wednesday when Miami stumbled for a 3-0 defeat against FC Cincinnati.
But the Argentinian superstar was back to his inspired Best when Miami De Stijl in the Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey, used to take an emphatic victory.
The Red Bulls had threatened to deliver another upset after Alexander Hack had bundled an open 14th minute to dismiss the hosts in an early lead.
But Messi quickly orchestrated the recovery of Inter Miami of that setback, so that a sublime pass was given to set up the equalizer of the former teammate Jordi Alba in the 24th minute.
Messi then combined with Alba for Miami's second goal and produced a brilliant pass to choose the Spaniard, who overstacked to Telasco Segovia to poke at home for 27 minutes.
Segovia then wipe in his second of the night deep in the first half of the stopping time to give Miami control.
Messi then took over in the second half when Miami cut loose.
A majestic by Ball by another former Barcelona teammate, Sergio Busquets, sent the Argentinian world cup winner who raced on goal in the 60th minute.
Messi took his time and gave cool to Red Bulls goalkeeper Carlos Coronel too wrong, Red Bulls before stopping the finish for 4-1.
