One of the biggest fighting of the year can literally be the greatest event of all time.
In collaboration with Turki Alshikh, Dana White will promote a huge 'Once in A Lifetime' event on 13 September.
White is located in the middle of Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford, who in itself is already one of the Must-see attacks of 2025.
Promoting an event of this size naturally also offers some new challenges for the UFC -CEO and his team to enter into, including White's feelings about organizing fights in a stadium.
Although he has spoken a lot about setting up the best possible live event, while he wants to be his mark on the boxing world, Alalshikh is always looking to define what boxing is capable of.
Turki Alshikh claims that Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford will take place over several days
After he has already announced that he is trying to remove the PPV model from Boxing by having all the Riyadh season and the ring events are free for Dazn subscribers, Turki Alalshikh did not stop there with the groundbreaking updates.
In a video posted by Ring Magazine, Alalshikh spoke about his plans for the Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford event and how big it is.
Alalshikh stated that the entire card will cross several days because of the enormous amount of battles they have matched for the event.
He believes that it is a huge opportunity for talent from all over the world to show itself, which means that Alvarez vs Crawford changes a full festival of fighting, rather than just one iconic night.
“The Undercard will be between two or three days. We have now achieved more than 20 fights to do on the Undercard.”
It is not clear what this entails and whether Dana White and his team will supervise every aspect of the event, although the UFC -CEOo said earlier that this was no different than a UFC card in terms of how involved they are.
Fans express their concern about Turki Alalshikh for the event of several days
Given that this is the first time that this has been publicly discussed, there are many questions about the plans of Turki Alalshikh.
Before we discover additional details about how the event of several days will influence things such as the location and temporary employment plans, fans were not exaggerated on board with the idea.
Many of the reactions on social media simply showed that fans think that this is too much, which suggests that it will dilute the quality of the event instead of improving it.
Alalshikh has had a number of strong ideas to improve boxing, but making events longer does not seem to be a movement supported by the majority of the audience.
