Liverpool is about to make a huge splash on the transfer market by signing Hugo Ekitike – and their checkbook will be open again next summer. The Reds have found their new status as Premier League champions to help strengthen Arne Slot team.
June saw the lucrative arrivals of Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz, of whom the latter broke the British transfer record. The trio cost the Reds a combined £ 186 million and added to that Giorgi Mhamardashvili, Armin Pecsi and Freddie Woodman, they have spent more than £ 210 million this summer so far.
Liverpool is planning to compensate for their publication by selling a number of players, possibly Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz, whose futures were more uncertain to their striving for Ekitike. Liverpool is about to reach a complete agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt to sign Hugo Ekitike. The Reds have already agreed personal conditions with the striker, whose contract will run until 2031.
According to athletics, Liverpool and Frankfurt have agreed the sketch of a deal and are now being worked on the final details before Ekitike, 23, gets permission to have a medical and to participate in the Arne Slot team. The amount could exceed the record sales of the German club of £ 82.3 million – when Randal Kolo Muani came to Paris Saint -Germain in 2023 – if all add -ours is met.

Wharton makes a decision
Liverpool is working on a deal to sign Adam Wharton next summer after the midfielder decided to stay another season in Crystal Palace. Wharton, 21, has been recommended for a large moving movement during his great spell of 18 months with the Eagles.
But it reports that he will avoid interest and stay with Palace for the 2025-26 campaign. It has been added that Liverpool has been working on a deal for a while, but they have given priority to other areas this year.

Bayern focuses on Diaz
Bayern Munich has paused negotiations with Stuttgart about striker Nick Woltemade to concentrate on signing Luis Diaz. Earlier this week, Liverpool rejected £ 58.5 million bid from Bayern, who – according to Bild – remains optimistic that they can close a deal for the winger.
