Manchester United is looking for a new No. 9 this summer, such as Benjamin Sesko, Nicolas Jackson and Ollie Watkins under their goals. Here, Sky Sports assesses their striker shortlist …
Benjamin Sesko
RB Leipzig -striker Sesko saw earlier in the window intended for Arsenal, but the negotiations have never progressed and they are now in the last phases of a deal for Viktor Gyokeres.
There was also interest from Al Hilal, but a deal was not extradited and there is an agreement with Leipzig that he can leave this summer if their value is achieved.
The Slovenia -International has a release clause, which is thought to be somewhere between £ 68 million and £ 86 million.
United has followed his development for a number of years and Sky Sports News can be heard that he is one to keep an eye on as the window develops.
Nicolas Jackson
New signing sessions Joao Pedro and Liam Delap seem to be ahead of Nicolas Jackson in Chelsea, and it is understood that various clubs, including Manchester United, keep an eye on the situation of Jackson.
He debuted for his previous club, Villarreal, under Aston Villa boss Unai Emery, and the Spaniard is supposed to have a long-term admiration for the player, but Villa is not thought that he is having Jackson.
AC Milan is also enthusiastic about Jackson, but conversations through intermediaries have emphasized a gap in appreciation. Milan also has Rasmus Hojlund from United on their list, as well as the Jean-Philippe Mateta from Crystal Palace.
Chelsea does not actively try to sell their players. There remains interest in Jackson from multiple clubs, especially since strikers are popular this summer and short offer. Jackson is currently staying in Stamford Bridge, but that is not guaranteed by the time the window closes.
Ollie Watkins
The future of Watkins in Aston Villa was the subject of further speculation this summer after Arsenal had held an approach for him in January.
Although he is 29 and does not expect him to demand the same reimbursement as a Sesko or Gyokees, the quality of the English international means that he is on the list of many top clubs this summer.
United has a long-term interest in Watkins, although there has not yet been an official club-to-club contact.
There is no doubt that Watkins could offer a quality addition to every team, but Villa will not let him go easily – he has and remains an incredibly important player for them.
Randal Kolo Muani
United asked questions about Kolo Muani in January, together with Tottenham, before he came to Juventus for the rest of the season.
The Saint-Germain and France of Paris and France is a priority for Juventus to sign this summer again, but they still have to close a deal.
If negotiations with Juve Drag On, there is always the chance for another club, but like most players on this list, it is preferable to play for a club in the Champions League.
Victor Osimhen
At the end of last season, Osimhen was on a list of attacking options on United, but they have never acted on their interest, and the striker is now ready to get back to Galatasaray permanently.
The Nigeria International was on loan last season in the Turkish club from Napoli and the two parties reached an agreement for Osimhen.
Galatasaray pays £ 64.9 million (€ 75 million) in three installments in a deal with a 10 percent clause for Napoli.
They have also negotiated a clause that means that Galatasaray should pay a fine to Napoli if Osimhen is sold to another Italian club for the next two years.
Viktor Gyokees
Manchester United has been interested in Gyokeres since Ruben Amorim, who worked with him at Sporting, arrived at the club.
But Arsenal fulfills after the Sweden striker and is not expected to take a step for him, unlike reports in Portugal on the weekend.
Arsenal is supposed to complete the bonus payments with sport, after he agreed the fixed fee of £ 55 million more than a week ago.
Arsenal is expected to pay another £ 8.5 million to add-ons, and the negotiations have been around the conditions of those bonus payments, hoping that Gyokees will play a role in the club's pre-season.
If that deal continues, Gyokeres will meet his former boss Amorim during the opening weekend of the Premier League in Old Trafford on August 17 – Live on Sky Sports.
