Alexander Volkanovski was full of praise for his triple rival after he saw him win on UFC 318.
Max Holloway has placed Dustin Poirier in five rounds to keep his BMF -Riem on Saturday evening.

Alexander Volkanovski emphasizes Max Holloway's Chin Issue
Max Holloway was supposed to have the best chin in MMA most of his career.
However, the former Feederweight Champion has now been dropped in three consecutive attacks, including his lonely knockout loss for Ilia Topuria on UFC 308 in October 2024.
Volkanovski believes that this is a sign that the Holloway chin is not what it used to be.
'The Great' says that fans should expect a different fighting style than his old enemy.
“We didn't really see Max falling like that. Like, like being injured,” said Volkanovski.
“I don't know, I hate to say it. You talk about it, but is the chin exactly the same? I don't know.
“I don't know if I can say it. So if they fight or move forward again, Max cannot trust his chin as he used to be, more strategic.”

The chin question was that the only somewhat negative spider Volkanovski UFC 318 could set up.
For the rest of his reaction video, he has simply praised Holloway's ability to bounce back.
“I'm going to give Max a moment to just say how incredible that was,” Volkanovski added.
“It is not easy to come back from losses. He has shown time and again through large losses, not only small losses, such as world title losses of tears.
“Even our third fight, to win the way I did, you probably think:” Oh, am I ready? “. You are going to get some negative thoughts.
“Incredibly fight by Max and to come back like that, touché mate.”
