Arsenal and Sporting CP are on the point of a total agreement for the transfer of Viktor Gyokeres.
A deal worth € 63.5 million (£ 54.8 million; $ 74.2 million) plus € 10 million (£ 8.6 million; $ 11.7 million) Future bonuses was already affected.

Frederico Varandas, the president of the Portuguese club, said on July 12 that Gyokees would get a “heavy fine” and was told to apologize from his sporting teammates after the Swede had missed the deadline to report for the training for the season in the midst of Arsenal's approach.
Gyokeres has been one of Europe's most sought after strikers this summer after scoring 54 goals in 52 games for sport last season and was identified as the preferred center-forward target of Arsenal.
