The Red Devils are flying to Chicago today to start their Premier League Summer Series Pre-season tour.
However, they will not be accompanied by the 32-year-old English international, at least for the time being.
Maguire does not travel today with the rest of the Ruben Amorim team because of a personal issue.
Although it is hoped that he can be connected with the team later in the trip.
Amorim brings 32 players on the plane for the pre-season tour over the pond.
This includes high -profile new signing sessions Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, with the latter announced yesterday after a transfer of £ 71 million from Brentford.
Cunha, who arrived from Wolves in June for £ 62.5 million, travels despite the recent birth of his second child.
In the meantime, Lisandro Martinez is included in the travel party, but is not fit enough to completely show or even train during the trip.
