Real Madrid defender Raul Asencio could be set to end the case that has booked his career at the senior side. Asencio is accused of the distribution of child pornography, as well as illegal parts of explicit content, in addition to three other former Real Madrid Academy players. None of the other trio stays in the club, although Ferran Ruiz is in La Liga with Girona.
Asencio is reportedly not part of the sexual acts involved in an 18-year-old and a 16-year-old in the Canary Islands in the summer of 2023, who were admitted without their knowledge. Nevertheless, Asencio is accused of showing the content to others.
According to Atlantico Hoy, Asencio and his legal team, as supported by MD, agreed a settlement with the two victims in question. The deal would see that the actions of Asencio are declared as a small crime and from the investigation and the legal proceedings have been removed in which the other three are involved. This small crime would then be punished with a fine instead of a prison sentence.
