Marcus Rashford has been tipped for 'great' and a 'great signature' in Barcelona through former English striker Gary Lineker.
The Manchester United star is about to complete a dream loan to the Spanish giants.
Barca pays all its wages of £ 315,000 a week and will have the option to buy it at the end of the season for £ 40 million.
He is one of the five stars that is not in Ruben Amorim's plans for the season, despite the fact that he will be loan in the second half of the last campaign in the second half of the last campaign.
While Rashford does not enter Hansi's side as an expected starter, Lineker, the last Englishman who plays for Barcelona, believes that he can find Lift-Off under the Catalan sun.
“He seems to be in the right state of mind and this is such a big challenge for him,” he told Sky Sports' Football Museum Podcast.
'Yes, they have brilliant players and it will be difficult to play regularly, but there are so many games they play now.
'They have a front three from Raphinha, (Robert) Lewandowski and (Lamine) Yamal, but you can't play three players every match, in and out.
'Lewandowski is now really his best – it is remarkable what he still achieves at his age.
“I think it's a good signing for Barcelona. Marcus at his best is incredible.
'Let's see what happened to the players who recently left Manchester United. The players you thought, “Ah, they really struggle.” They did incredibly well. Incredibly good everywhere.
“Something at Manchester United is now a bit rotten and the players who have been his way that were generally successful, so I suspect that Marcus we saw was great at Villa was able to do the same in Barcelona.”
Mail Sport revealed in January that the 27-year-old had set his heart to move to the Nou-Camp before United closed a deal with Aston Villa to bring him on loan.
Rashford's brother and representative Dwaine Maynard, however, flew to Spain to have conversations with Barca Sporting Director Deco in May, and the deal came closer after Nico Williams decided to stay in Athletic Bilbao instead of becoming a member of the Catalan giants.
Barcelona boss Hansi Flick made a left-sided attacker one of his priorities this summer.
Asked in an interview last month if he hoped to play alongside Barcelona's Teenage Star Lamine Yamal, Rashford said: 'Yes, sure. Everyone in the world wants to play with the best. Hopefully. We will see. '
Rashford trains away from the rest of the United Squad in the preseason in Carrington after a fall-out with head coach Ruben Amorim as one of the five members of a united 'Bombe Ploeg' that also includes Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyell Malacia.
After being kept suitable for a large part of the summer with Personal Trainers in Marbella, Rashford comes to the training area to collaborate with United conditioning staff based on the fact that he has no access to the complex until Amorim and the team have left, sometimes within a few minutes of the coach's departure.
