Footballers choose the three players they believe will excel the most in each of the following positions: goalkeeper, defense, midfield and forward.

The goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders and three forwards with the most votes in their position reach the World 11. The 11th spot is awarded to the field player with the next highest number of votes.
