Manon Fiorot set to face surging contender at UFC Vancouver in first fight since Valentina Shevchenko title loss

Former UFC Flyweight title Challenger Manon Fiorot is planned for her Bounceback Kans at UFC Vancouver.

Many believed that Manon Fiorot would falter in a new era in the Flyweight Division for Women's Flyweight against Valentina Shevchenko on UFC 315 earlier this year. But after he had fallen through a unanimous decision in her first UFC loss of the champion Shevchenko, Fiorot is back in the role of the competition, because she wants to make a way back to a title shot.

Fiorot, one of the most dangerous contenders in the Flyweight Division of the UFC Women, was unbeaten by her first seven UFC fights before the loss against Shevchenko. Fiorot has confronted with many of the top stars of the division and will be confronted with a rising competition for her next fight at UFC Vancouver.

As reported by MMA Fighting, Fiorot will be confronted against Jasmine Jasudavicius in UFC Vancouver in October. At the moment the Fiorot vs. Jasudavicius Matchup not announced by the promotion, and the full card is expected to be shared in the coming weeks.

According to MMA Fighting, Fiorot vs. Jasudavicius do not act as the most important event for UFC Vancouver. The fight will be a three-rounder and possibly serve as the Co-Main event of the map.

Jasudavicius has been on a role and knocks on the door of a potential flight weight for ladies. She has won five consecutive fights, including her recent victory over former UFC champion Jessica Andrade on UFC 315.

Jasudavicius defeated the will of Ariane da Silva, Mayra Bueno Silva and Fatima Kline during her UFC official period. She earned a shot in the promotion through the Contender Series of Dana White in 2021.

Before he fell to Shevchenko, Fiorot defeated the will of Erin Blanchfield, Rose Namajunas and Katlyn Chookagian. She generally won 12 consecutive fights after she had dropped her pro debut to the former Bellator -star Leah McCourt at Cage Warriors 94.

While Fiorot and Jasudavicius are preparing to fight in a potential no. 1 candidate, the door is open for one of the top stars of the division to get the next crack at Shevchenko.

The booking of the UFC Vancouver from Manon Fiorot opens the door for Natalia Silva

Top candidate Natalia Silva remains without a fight after her most recent victory over former title holder Alexa Grasso on UFC 315. Silva called Shevchenko immediately after her victory, but a potential champion vs. Champ Matchup stands in the way.

Shevchenko could possibly be confronted in a super fight to UFC Strawweight champion Zhang Weili this year. Weili praised the fight as a 'Destiny' while she saw how Shevchenko Fiorot declined at UFC 315.

While the UFC matchmakers decide what the next step is for Shevchenko, Silva and Weili, the UFC Women's Flyweight Division will be under a large spotlight for the rest of 2025.
