Former Man United star Javier Hernandez breaks silence after he was fined having sparked fury with sexist comments

Javier Hernandez broke his silence after he has been fined to make sexist comments.

The former striker of Manchester United led to anger by accusing women of 'exterminating masculinity' in an explosive Instagram -rant on Friday last week.

Hernandez, lovingly called 'Chicarito', claimed that women make society 'hypersitive' and that they must concentrate on 'multiplying, cleaning, maintaining'.

He became a fine and reprimanded by the Mexican football federation (FMF) and his current side Chivas for his comments.

And now Hernandez, 37, has apologized for his 'only confusion or upset' after his comments and the subsequent recoil.

“I sincerely thank everyone who has supported me, who has respectfully shared their perspectives with me and demanded that I am a better person,” he wrote on Instagram.

'I'm very sorry for any confusion or upset that caused my recent words; It was never my intention to limit, hurt or distribute.

'As a father, husband and member of this community, my priority to act with respect, humility and responsibility.

'I listen, reflect and use myself to express myself with more clarity and sensitivity, especially on such sensitive topics.

“I believe that change starts with itself. I will benefit from this opportunity to understand, grow and continue to work into a better version of myself, honesty, love for my family, my values and love for all of you. Thank you for your understanding, question, love and company on this path. '

Hernandez was radiated by fans on social media and public figures for his eruption.

President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the first female president of Mexico, said: “Chicharito is a very good [footballer] But when it comes to his opinion about women … he still has a lot to learn. '

In a joint explanation between the top gentlemen and women's competitions of the FMF and Mexico, they said that the country's gender and diversity committee had opened an investigation into the comments of Hernandez 'to prevent and punish this behavior'.

Chivas said that the comments 'contrary to the principles and values' of the club and that they had taken 'appropriate action' against Hernandez, although they did not indicate which action.

Hernandez spent five years at Old Trafford and won two Premier League titles before he left in 2015.

The Mexican is the record goalscorer of his country of all time, with 52 strikes in 109 performances, and also played for Real Madrid and spent two years with both West Ham and Bayer Leverkusen.

He is now subject to a stream of criticism about the comments he made, in which he was mentioned: 'Women, you fail. You row out masculinity by making society hypersensitive.

'Embrace your female energy: caring, caring, receiving, multiplying, cleaning, maintaining the house, which is the most precious place for us men.

'Don't be afraid to be women, to let yourself be guided by a man you only want to see happy, because we don't know heaven without you. Keeping yourself responsible for your energy is also a way to love you. '

He added: 'Men, we fail in the lack of dedication, put our partners as the last, do not stick to us and prioritize habits to become admirable.

'I understand that we are afraid to speak and really express what we feel because they are trying to eradicate masculinity, because in certain cases of the past female energy was suppressed, but many of us want to love you here, take care of you, take care of you, respect you and take care of you.

“But your women must learn to honor masculinity,” he concluded.

Hernandez's newest anger follows a controversial Instagram post just a day earlier.

On Thursday, in another video, he said: 'So you want a man who offers, but for you is cleaning patriarchal oppression? Interesting.'
