Wrexham has received an approach to sign Christian Eriksen.
The championship side held conversations with the Denmark International, which is a free agent after leaving Manchester United this summer.
The 33-year-old would still prefer a switch to a top club, but is impressed by the field and the ambition of Wrexham.
The Welsh Club, co-ownership of Rob Mcelhenney and Ryan Reynolds, has been back in the second layer for the first time since 1982 and has already made six permanent signing sessions while continuing their Push from Non-League to the Premier League.
