Antony ‘attracts interest from Saudi clubs’ after ETH revealed transfer stance

Antony is said to be interested in two Saudi Pro League clubs while the Manchester United Outcast is trying to find this summer.

The Brazilian, 25, has passed a difficult period at Old Trafford after signing Ajax in a £ 86 million deal in 2022.

He left the club on loan to Laliga Club Real Betis in January, where he enjoyed a Renaissance, scored nine goals and gave five assists in 26 performances.

The successful Stint has left a number of clubs that are interested in Antony this summer, whereby the winger is free to find a step away from United after losing Ruben Amorim's confidence.

It is thought that two Saudi -Arab parties are interested, reportedly opened with Antony for a move to the middle -east.

But the preference of the former Sao Paulo -man is in Europe after Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich have reportedly registered their interest.

A return to real betis is considered unrealistic at this stage.

Manchester United – who want to sell Antony on a permanent basis – must not yet have received formal bids for the player, despite the fact that Bayer Leverkusen and Betis contact them earlier in the window.

A switch to Leverkusen is said to have seen the Brazilian, who is part of the five-player 'Bomp team' by United, with former United coach Erik ten Hag.

The Dutchman, who spent the Leverkusen task after the exit of Xabi Alonso, signed Antony twice – which brought him from Sao Paulo to Ajax in 2020 and then united in 2022.

But Ten Hag released a movement for the Left Footer in an interview last week and said that the German club is 'not interested'.

“He has a high quality,” said the 55-year-old, “I signed him twice. He was like a son for me, he is still a son for me.

“We are not currently interested in him, but we will see what will happen in the future.”

During his three years at United, Antony 96 performances appeared, he scored 12 goals and the provision of five assists.

The statistics are poorly read for a player who signed no less than £ 86 million in the summer of 2022, with United fans who are then eagerly awaiting his arrival.

His United enchantment started well, while Antony was on his first three performances against Arsenal, Everton and Manchester City.

He also took a crucial goal during his first season during a fixture in Old Trafford against Barcelona and shot a volley home with his left foot.

But things became sour fairly quickly, where the winger eventually got away on the couch under both ten Hag and later Ruben Amorim in his second and third seasons.

He now looks to let the English giants forever.
