'No Mercy' wants another shot at the current UFC Bantamweight Champion after its win -streak.
Petr Yan defeated Marcus Mcghee in the Co-Main event of UFC Abu Dhabi to make it three victories in a row for the former champion.
The Russian had seriously derailed his momentum due to a three-fighter slip, although Yan only recognizes his loss of Merab Dvalishvili as a real setback.
It took some time before the 32-year-old instructs his way back to the title photo, but he probably seems to be the next one in line after the coming title fight.
Yan has already given his opinion about Dvalishvili opposite Cory Sandhagen on UFC 320 and has previously confronted both men in the Octagon.

Petr Yan believes that he will be healthier and better prepared for a Merab Dvalishvili -Rematch
Petr Yan had to do a serious reconstruction after his three-fighter-losing series where he was defeated by some of the top names in the division.
After his victory over DeiveSon Figueiredo last November, Merab Dvalishvili believed that his former opponent had done enough to earn a rematch.
Umar Nurmagomedov eventually got the shot and although Yan had a case to be the next competition, fans did not hurry to see him for a second time against Dvalishvili after how their first meeting went.
In March 2023, 'The Machine' won all five rounds in Las Vegas, so that 11 Takedowns were obtained from a stunning 49 total attempts.
Yan, who spoke about the injuries he encountered on his way to that match, revealed in his press conference after the fight on UFC Abu Dhabi why he believes that their Rematch will be different.
“First of all, I want to show up healthily and now I understand how to adjust my fighting camp and prepare better for Merab. Now I know what to expect from him.”
Petr Yan was offered to be the backup hunter for the UFC 320 Co-Main event
Petr Yan's victory over Marcus Mcghee on July 26 was a classic performance of the former champion.
The first round was competitive before he started setting it up in the later rounds, as is often the case with 'no mercy'.
Despite the injury of his leg in the first round after his opponent had checked a kick, Yan stated that he is still willing to be the back -up hunter for the Merab Dvalishvili collision with Cory Sandhagen on October 4.
He also said that although he would like to have one of the man in a rematch, he would rather have the chance to avenge his loss against Dvalishhvili, because he had defeated Sandhagen in 2021.
