It is not easy to put into words what it feels like to close such an intense and special chapter as the chapter that I experienced at Real Madrid during these 15 years. I never thought where this trip would take me. I am the Academy player who spent most of the years at the club and even made my debut with the first team. I can really say that I have filled a dream.
Today I say goodbye with my head and my heart full. It was an honor to wear this sweater and defend these colors. But what I really mean to me are people: teammates who became more than alone and changed to family, coaches who led and learned me, and all the club staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes, so that we can give our best.
Real Madrid taught me to be strong in adversity, to get up again when it didn't go on my way and to trust myself, even in the most difficult times. I leave with unforgettable memories, lessons that will form my career, and the certainty that the Madridista spirit will live in me forever.
I take more away than just memories: I take a way to understand football and life. Here I learned that at Real Madrid giving up is never an option – you always have to give everything, without apologies. That is something that I will wear with me forever.
