The BMF title of Max Holloway could live on after UFC 318.
The former champion of the UFC Vederweight won his trilogy against Dustin Poirier and switched his old rival back in the main event of UFC 318. Holloway's unanimous decisions profit marked the first successful BMF title defense in history.
After the fight, UFC Welterweight Gilbert Burn's beloved former champion Charles Oliveira -fight for the BMF title in a rematch against Holloway.
UFC CEO Dana White said that Ilia Topuria was now worth fighting for the BMF title of Holloway after switching Oliveira on UFC 317.
UFC commentator Jon Anik, on the other hand, said on Submission Radio that hooker is the 'most worthy' competition to fight for the BMF title of Holloway.

Dan Hooker says he is one fight removed from Max Holloway
Hooker achieved the lightweight Top-5 in 2019 after going 7-1.
'Hangman' went five rounds with the now retired Dustin Poirier in 2020, in what is considered the best fight in the history of UFC Apex. Hooker then lost a few fights and came back on the right track with three straight victories.
Hooker proved his BMF mothers in his last two attacks, fight-of-the-year opportunities against Mateusz Gamrot and Jalin Turner.
“That is probably the only fight in terms of the BMF ‘Most worthy’ BMF title contender isn’t so sure Max Holloway fight is next after UFC 318 That's a bit logical, “Hooker said about a potential fight with Holloway on Submission Radio.
“But I sat on the couch for so long,” Hooker admitted, after he had a broken hand in the run -up to his canceled fight with Justin Gaethje on UFC 313.
“I am injured. Fight fans know that. Most people who coordinate and look, their mind travels very slowly and I think it's eight months or something since I fought.
'So I feel and speak with the UFC, [I’m] I have to get another one [fight] In and take one of these big boys out and one of these high boys before you can get into a large pay-per-view battle like this, “said Hooker.

“Everyone will just have to be a little more patient. I think we have one of the difficult fights of these guys, but get one of these guys out of the way. And then, yes, you have big things coming.
“It will be the BMF title or the undisputed title,” said Hooker.

Potentially a fight away from Holloway, the #6-ranged whore look the rest of the top 5.
Initially planned to be confronted with Gaethje earlier this year, Hooker recently shouted Oliveira and told the former champion to 'wake up' after being eliminated by Topuria in June.
Hooker also said that he would fight #1 Competier Arman Tsarukyan, who, according to many, earns the next title against Ilia Topuria.
However, a last-minute title fight for Tsarukyan (injury) at UFC 311 apparently removed him from the title interview.
