The UFC division is warming up middleweight for two crucial confrontation.
UFC Middleweight Champion Dric Du Plessis will be confronted next month with the unbeaten Khamzat Chimaev in the UFC 319 Main Event in Chicago. It will demonstrably be the most difficult test of Du Plessis' title line after Chimaev had passed on all his earlier MMA tests, including recent victories over Kamaru Usman and Robert Whittaker.
Only a few weeks after UFC 319, top middle weights Caio Borralho and Nassourdine Imavov will fight for a likely title shot in UFC Paris. Tensions rise between the two contenders prior to their main event fighting.

Borralho and Imavov both strong cases make a title shot against the winner of Du Plessis vs. Chimaev, and they will fight to solidify the next shot at UFC Paris. But Borralho claims that he will be in Chicago on UFC 319 to serve as a backup for the main event.
In a recent interview with MMA today, Borralho shared that he will serve as the backup of du Persis vs. Chimaev.
“See you in Chicago! Dricus and Chimaev, if you want to rest … I'm ready to fight!” Borralho announced.
At the moment, the UFC has not confirmed or denied the claims of Borralho, but they still have to announce a backup for UFC 319. Imavov was briefly linked to the Back -Uprol before he withdraws surprisingly to combat Borralho.
In a recent message to X Imavov did not hold words when responding to Borralho's backup claims.
“Back -up? [LAUGHS] Caio is only good to take my leftovers, you always come after, you always stay behind me. It's your destination! “Imavov tweeted.
Borralho did not stop his reaction.
“How a man says that a possible title shot is a remains ???? are you in order,” said Borralho on X.
“Or he was just afraid of possibly fighting Chimaev after being beaten up his A ** when they trained together ??? I heard that it was a floor mopping. Like 10 submissions in 5 minutes.”
Viral images of Borralho that were suffocated by Chimaev made the rounds on social media in April. Imavov and Chimaev previously briefly trained together in their career before they went their own way and fell at various gyms.
Borralho and Imavov both come from the biggest victories of their career that UFC Paris enter. Earlier this year, IMAVOV played Israel Adesanya in UFC Saudi Aarabia, while Borralho has not fought since Jared Cannonier since last year.
Jiri Prochazka called UFC 320 Back -up for Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira 2
In the meantime, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jiri Prochazka also announced that he will serve as a back -up for the UFC 320 headliner in October. PrOCHAZKA is planned for Khalil Rountree Jr. In a main map match just before the rematch between UFC Light Heavyweight Champ Magomed Ankalaev and former title holder Alex Pereira.
PrOCHAZKA also confirmed that the winner of his fight with Rountree will get the next light heavyweight title shot. Rountree beat the most recently Jamahal Hill on UFC Baku last month.
The full UFC 320 card is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.
