Man Utd transfer news: Sesko makes decision as target speaks out on move

Manchester United has drawn their attention to the signing of a center-forward and keeper in the summer transfer window when the Premier League season is rapidly approaching

Manchester United still has a lot of work to do in the summer transfer window after signing Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.

United has endured a miserable season 2024/25 and knows that they need major reinforcements if they want to turn things around. Cunha, an addition of £ 62.5 million from Wolves, and Mbeumo, who cost a potential £ 71 million from Brentford, his major signing sessions, but it is slow on other fronts.

The most important thing is in Center-Forward, where United Liam Delap missed to Chelsea, Hugo Ekitike to Liverpool and Viktor Gyokees to Arsenal. They cannot afford another miss and have identified some new goals, including Benjamin Sesko.

In the meantime, while the tour for the season continues through the United States, there are plans in the works to improve in the goalkeeper department. Here is the last of Mirror Football.

Sesko 'prefers United'

United knows how difficult it can be to sign a striker, who has missed at least three times this summer to rivals. Well, another similar situation could brew with RB Leipzig striker Sesko and Newcastle.

The magpies lost on Liverpool Ekitike and have to replace Callum Wilson, even if Alexander Isak stays in place. They go to Sesko and it seems to be a straight shoot-out with United, who is also interested.

Local newspaper Leipziger Volkszeitung says that the Sesko agent is in conversation with both Newcastle and United and it could come up with the choice of the Slovenian. In that case, Sesko would undoubtedly choose the side of Ruben Amorim, despite the fact that they cannot offer European football and Newcastle in the Champions League.

Lammens likes to transfer

Royal Antwerp -goalkeeper Senne Lammens is enthusiastic about a switch to Manchester United. Lammens is one of the players who is considering United after a difficult campaign for Andre Onana, while Altay Bayindir did not convince when he got the chance. Ambitious movements for Aston Villas Emi Martinez and Paris Saint-Germain's Gianluigi Donnarumma have not gone anywhere, but Lammens is available for € 15-20 million (£ 13-17 million).

“Manchester United is one of the best clubs, yes,” he told reporters after sports director Marc Overmars Taishi Brandon Nozawa signed to replace him. “But you never know. It can also be another club, or who knows, I could stay here, at least I try to keep my feet on the floor. When such teams come, I think you deserve it.”

He added: “I certainly have enough faith in myself. I think the most important thing is that my future team, when they arrive, has a plan. Ideally, that means playing immediately, but it is also possible that I have to take a step in between. As long as there is a plan, I will not go.

Antony to Al-Nassr

Al-Nassr seems to be the rescue of Manchester United with a movement for Antony. The Brazilian is one of the Outcasts Amorim is desperate to sell, but a switch back to Real Betis, after a successful loan spell, has never been released because of financial problems.

Now the Saudi Arabian side has announced their interest. Versacht from the match of a deal for one Premier League-Flop, in the form of Chelsea's Joao Felix, Al-Nassr also wants to do the charity to sign Antony to join Sadio Mane and Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to his agent, Antony would consider such a movement, so it looks like a goer. After he has already lost Marcus Rashford to Barcelona, this would leave Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia and Alejandro Garnacho as the last unwanted players to load.
