Mbeumo gives green light to ‘complete’ striker transfer as Man Utd make move

Manchester United's £ 71 million new boy Bryan Mbeumo is very familiar with one of the most important transfer goals of the club, because they are looking for a new center-forward: Ollie Watkins

Bryan Mbeumo has praised Manchester United Target Ollie Watkins as the “complete” player.

Mbeumo, who came to United from Brentford last week in a deal with a value of a maximum of £ 71 million, played alongside Watkins for the bees before the striker moved to Aston Villa. United -Baas Ruben Amorim wants to sign Watkins to lead his attack, whereby Villa appreciates the English International at £ 60 million – about £ 15 million more than the Red Devils are willing to pay.

Mbeumo would enjoy a reunion with Watkins in United and revealed his admiration for the 29-year-old from the season they played together.

Thinking about his time in Brentford, Mbeumo said: “We had Ollie, whom I got to know over time. I think he's really complete [as a player].

“He is like a complete striker. He can do a lot of things.

“He can fall with the set or go in the back and I think this is really good for me or for a winger, because you can use his space to fit there. And he can also combine. So I think it's really good.

“I think it is also very important to have a really good relationship outside the field with your teammates. After, when my English got better, I could have a good conversation with him.”

About what he can bring to United, said Mbeumo, who appears on the Podcast Rio Ferdinand presents: “Of course the coach has his ideas. Then it is the players who do the show.

“I am someone who likes to be structured, to know what to do with the manager. But in my position in the last third part you of course have to do your own piece and be creative.

“I like creativity. I like to move on the field, not to stay in one position. But you clearly have to respect some formals and some principles and then after it is only you and your football.”
