Jorge Masvidal Plant his UFC referee for a while after initially retired in 2023.
When he ran away from the promotion after UFC 287, 'GameBred' was still a huge star in sport after his breakout year in 2019.
Three ends about big names, and being part of the inaugural BMF title fight, helped to bring the stock from Masvidal to whole new heights before he suffered a series of defeats.
In a recent post on social media, his former rival Nate Diaz owned the BMF -Riem by sharing his thoughts after the title was recently defended on UFC 318.
With a rematch between Masvidal and Diaz as a pitch -up for the UFC's 2026 event in the White House, there is still unfinished things between them.

Jorge Masvidal tries to remind Nate Diaz of what happened the first time they came across
Despite the fact that the UFC 244 main event was terminated via Doctor Stoppage, Nate Diaz clearly does not believe that he left Madison Square Garden without the BMF title.
Diaz claimed that he could have turned the fight after he had lost all three opening rounds to Jorge Masvidal before the doctor stopped the fight because of the cuts he had suffered above his right eye.
It was an incredibly unconditional way to crown the first BMF champion, leaving the feeling that this chapter was not completed between the two opponents.
Diaz then earned some revenge through a majority decision when they met in a boxing ring for the second time in July 2024.
In a recent post on social media, Diaz claimed that although he respects Max Holloway, the BMF champion wonders his title.
Masvidal disputed this, after he was never lost the belt that was empty when he retired, so it went down to a weight class to the lightweight division where it stays today.

Jorge Masvidal has regularly threw another rival for his UFC refund
While a return to the Octagon to complete his trilogy of battles with Nate Diaz would be enormous, there is another chapter that Jorge Masvidal likes to end up.
A few months ago he spoke with Submission Radio about wanting to formerly champion Welterweight Leon Edwards.
The two men did not meet each other in the Octagon, but they already shared a heated interaction –back internship in London in 2019 that still has to be resolved.
“If the UFC wants to happen (this return), this is what they do. Give me the Leon fight and then I fight who has that damn belt, man, let's go.”
With Edwards from back-to-back losing now that he is no longer the champion, this long-awaited resorting competition can be more logical than ever before.
