Chelsea has agreed a deal to sign Ajax-Centrum-back Jorrel Hato.
Sky Sports News understands that Chelsea pays a first fee of £ 35.5 million, plus add-ons, for the 19-year-old.
Ajax originally appreciated the player at around £ 52 million.
Hato will arrive in London in the coming days to undergo a medical and to complete the paperwork over a long -term contract.
Hato was not included in the Ajax team for the Como Cup final on Sunday, because he did not want to risk injury prior to his move to Stamford Bridge.
The defender fits in with Chelsea's strategy to sign young players on low basic wages for heavily stimulated contracts.
They would like to sign Hato, because he can also offer cover to Marc Cucurella on the left, who played nearly 70 games for Chelsea and Spain last season.
Hato would mark the seventh new signature in the summer transfer window for Enzo Maresca, after the arrivals of Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, Estevao Willian, Dario Essugo and Mamadou Sarr.
Sky Sports to show 215 Live Premier League matches from next season
From next season, the Premier League coverage of Sky Sports will increase from 128 games to at least 215 games that are exclusively live.
And 80 percent of all Premier League matches broadcast on television will be on Sky Sports next season.
