Man Utd confirm transfer stance on surprise swap deal with Chelsea

Both Alejandro Garnacho and Nicolas Jackson are confronted with uncertain futures with both Manchester United and Chelsea and a sensational swap deal between the Premier League rivals can be on the maps

The wish of Alejandro Garnacho to become a member of Chelsea is not dependent on Nicolas Jackson who moves in the other direction. Garnancho, omitted from the US Tour Squad of United by Baas Ruben Amorim, wants to stay in the Premier League and has put his heart on a move to Chelsea.

United wants at least £ 40 million for wing player Garnacho, who came out with Amorim after he has been dropped for the last defeat of the Europa League against Tottenham in Bilbao.

In the immediate aftermath of the 1-0 loss, Garnacho publicly doubted Amorim's decision to bank and said he would take the summer to consider his future.

But Amorim has made that decision for Garnacho and decided that he is surplus for requirements, with income increased from his sale to the financing of a new striker.

It is unlikely that the new striker will be Jackson, with United priority giving a movement for RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko or Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa.

Chelsea has registered their interest in signing Garnacho, but is not close to the match of a deal with United, with the new season just three weeks away. Napoli was also connected to Garnacho, but their interest seems to have decreased in recent weeks.

In the meantime, Chelsea -Baas Enzo Maresca shared his position on the future of Jackson and claimed that a red card on the World Cup of this summer had not pushed him to the starting door. The Italian said: “No, the red card has nothing to do with the future of Nico. He had the first against Newcastle when Liam wasn't even here and another one.

“I'm not sure if it is 100 percent a red card, but the referee has decided for that, and Nico knows very well that in both situations (it) was not something good for the team.”

In the meantime, Chelsea has strengthened their front line this summer and has signed Liam Delap and Joao Pedro from Ipswich and Brighton respectively. Manchester United has also been working on the goals of the goals, in which both Matheus Nunes and Bryan Mbeumo arrived from Wolves and Brentford.

Ruben Amorim's side is not ready there either, with a central striker high on their shortlist. RB Leipzig -star Benjamin Sesko has emerged as a realistic target, but the Red Devils could be confronted with competition from Premier League -Rivalen Newcastle.
