Girona left-back Miguel Gutierrez seems to have made a decision to leave the club this summer, and his destination is about to be clarified. Earlier links to a Serie A Giant did not flourish, but it seems that a move to Italy is on the cards.
Gutierrez and his camp reportedly decided that it is time to leave Girona this summer after three years, and he was linked to AC Milan earlier in the summer. The Rossoneri, however, turned their attention elsewhere and recently brought in pervis Estupinan, to replace Theo Hernandez.
However, Napoli has now taken a step for the 24-year-old, and Matteo Moretto reports that an agreement is almost over the line between Girona and the Serie A champions. Although an agreement with Gutierrez has not yet been reached, there is optimism that a deal can be concluded for personal conditions, so that the ex-Real Madrid-Man would see a five-year deal.
It is not yet clear how much Napoli will spend on Gutierrez, who has left for his deal for two years. Allegedly there is a release clause of € 35 million in its deal, but Real Madrid receives 50% of the costs that Napoli pays as part of the deal that Gutierrez brought to Girona for € 4 million in 2022.
