Atlético de Madrid has exercised his back-back option at Santiago Mouriño. The Uruguayan defender therefore ends his time with Deportivo Alavés, after he came to the Red-White Club last season at Vitoria-Gastikeiz.
Álvaro Santiago Mouriño González (Montevideo, 13 February 2002) joined Deportivo Alavés in the summer of 2024, after his time in Real Zaragoza, where he had played on loan from the Madrid team.
During his time in the Vitoria-Gasteneiz Club, Mouriño played a total of 2,056 minutes in 27 official games, 25 of them in Laliga EA Sports and 2 in the Copa del Rey.
Deportivo Alavés wants to express the player for his dedication and effort during his time in the blue and white sweater, and wish him good luck in his personal and professional future.
