Alexander Isak swap proposed as mega Liverpool and Newcastle deal ‘suits all parties’

Newcastle United has been told that Liverpool could propose a SWAP deal this summer to sign Sterstiker Alexander Isak, with Darwin Nunez who may go in the opposite direction

Former Newcastle United -defender Stuart Pearce has suggested that Liverpool could propose a Swap deal to secure Alexander Isak's services this summer. Last week, Isak reported a thigh injury prior to the club's trip to Asia and withdrew from the training.

He stayed at home and did not travel with the team. Later it turned out that the striker had informed the club about his wish to explore his options this summer.

Liverpool has long been existing admirers of Isak, but Newcastle is laid down in their position that the striker is not for sale, where the club appreciates him at around £ 150 million.

Pearce believes that Liverpool may find a way to offer a random sniper Darwin Nunez as part of a deal to sign Isak for the end of the summer transfer window.

“The title is over when Liverpool is Isak, yes,” Pearce told Chronicle Live. “They eventually invested in what they have and take him and his goals through the door to add [Mohamed] Salah would be incredible.

“I think if a deal is surveyed with Newcastle. I think that maybe [Darwin] Nunez who goes to Newcastle in the opposite direction is perhaps the way Newcastle is better off.

“In my opinion, Nunez might be the one full of energy. He may just be the one who takes the new Newcastle fans. He certainly creates opportunities for himself.

“He has just been wasting a bit over time. If he has that right, he will suddenly be a very effective replacement for Isak,” Pearce continued.

“So if I was Newcastle, I would say, look, if we start losing Isak at the end of the day, send Nunez to us and then we have a bash with him.

“You have played in Newcastle, they just love their own players, especially the attackers, don't you know, I can see, you've seen nunez, he goes inside, he misses a chance, he misses one, but he keeps going.

“He is unwavering in that respect. And you think that is a great feature to have as a striker. It is the ones who put their necks in and not in missing opportunities. So I think I could see him play for Newcastle, I could really do that if they needed a replacement.”

Contract negotiations with the Swede, handled through intermediaries, resulted in the fact that Isak received a package of £ 200,000 a week through Newcastle, a proposal that would establish him as the best earner of the club in history.

In the circumstances Magpies Manager Eddie Howe spoke: “He is still our player. He has contracted us. We, to a certain extent, check what the next one is for him. I would like to believe that all possibilities are still available. My wish is that he remains, but that is not in my complete control.”
