Two UFC legends continued their feud in pro wrestling and left fans baffled at what was supposed to be a shocking turn

Although some former UFC stars have also achieved great things in professional wrestling, this crossover has not always produced amazing results.

By the time he arrived in the UFC after he had already become a big star in WWE, Brock Lesnar had cemented himself as a big draw.

Lesnar had real crossover recovery power and there have been several other remarkable names that have tried to take advantage of comparable circumstances.

Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson tested the waters in various other fields and remained one of the most iconic figures in sport.

While the Jackson movement to the big screen did not sit well with Dana White, he came to the pro wrestling after his first run in the UFC, where an old rival followed shortly behind him.

Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson and Tito Ortiz became part of TNA for their Bellator fight

In 2013, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson signed a multi -year deal to compete in Bellator, but the contract did not only end with MMA.

The former UFC champion also appeared in the total non -stop action -struggling, or TNA, where he aligned himself with stars such as Kurt Angle and Sting as part of the 'Main Event Mafia'.

There were several teasing during Jackson's short time in the promotion that TNA stars warned around 1 August earlier in 2013, everything was unveiled on a fairly underwhelming way.

The unveiling eventually became Tito Ortiz, but the surprise was not performed so well, with 'The Huntington Beach Bad Boy' awkwardly standing and staring at the stars in the ring via the entrance slope for far too long.

Not only were professional struggles not so enthusiastic about throwing Ortiz in the mix, writing was on the wall that both men were there to promote Bellator.

Both Jackson and Ortiz were drawn from TNA programming a few weeks later.

The Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson and Tito Ortiz TNA story line had one big mistake all the time

After Tito Ortiz seemed to be acting with the 'Main Event Mafia', this eventually led to the large 'Hardcore Justice' event of TNA on 15 August, where Ortiz encouraged the group by attacking 'Rampage' Jackson to give the rival faction the victory.

At the time, the former training partners were already announced as Main Eventing Bellator 106 on November 2, which meant that every fan saw it that Ortiz would make the turn instead of working with his upcoming opponent.

The two former UFC champions have never met each other in the Octagon and after their Bellator confrontation was canceled due to an injury to Ortiz, their paths were never crossed again.
