After accusing one of the victims in the legal case against Real Madrid defender Raul Asencio, the public prosecutor has now submitted their case against the 22-year-old. They have asked that Asencio is imprisoned for 2.5 years.
Asencio is one of the four former Real Madrid Academy players accused of crimes against intimacy and distribution of child pornography. Three others, Ferran Ruiz, Juan Rodriguez and Andres Garcia, participated in sexual intercourse, but reportedly registered the incident without the permission of the two girls involved (16 and 18). Asencio, Ruiz, Rodriguez and Garcia are accused of sharing the content with third parties.
According to Cadena Ser (via Marca), the public prosecutor in the case asked a 2.5 -year prison sentence for Asencio for crimes against intimacy. In contrast to the prosecution under the leadership of the victims, they have not included the accusation of distribution of child pornography for Asencio, but did this for the other three. They claim that Asencio has asked the video to show it to a friend, after which he immediately removed it, and that this should not remain unpunished.
The prosecution by the victims has included the accusation of distribution of child pornography and their request is for a four -year sentence. It has been reported that Asencio has reached an arrangement with the victims, but that has so far been unconfirmed. The public prosecution intends to pursue the case before the court.
Asencio has tackled the incident in public, denying some misconduct and has reminded that he is innocent until he has been guilty. He also continued to say that his conscience was clear about this and repeated his respect for the sexual privacy of women. The case has been set for a while to still continue.
