Alexander Isak was back in Newcastle on Saturday after his personal training camp in Spain – a day after an offer from Liverpool of more than £ 100 million was rejected by the magpies.
The striker himself trains at the Real Sociedad training head office, after he refused to travel with Newcastle during their pre-season tour through Asia. Isak reported a dijing injury and traveled to San Sebastián to recover with his own staff.
Sky Sports News understands Liverpool's opening offer for Isak £ 110 million plus add-ons. However, the total supply did not reach £ 120 million.
Newcastle does not want to sell and appreciate Isak at £ 150 million. On Saturday morning, Newcastle made an range of £ 70 million to RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko while trying to list a replacement for Isak, he was allowed to leave.
The rest of the Magpies team will be back on Monday from their tour for the season through Asia.
How uncertain about the future of Isak
Head coach Eddie Howe confirmed that the club has rejected Liverpool for Isak, but is not sure what will happen.
“I am very removed from everything that happens at home,” said Howe in a press conference prior to the Newcastle match against Tottenham Hotspur in Zuidkorea on Sunday.
'I became aware that there was an offer [on Friday] – That offer was all rejected before I even heard about it. There are people back in England who deal with the situation.
“I really don't know what is going to happen, but from our perspective we still support Alex in every possible way, and my wish is still that we see it again in a Newcastle shirt.”
Howe revealed that he only learned about Isak training in Spain via the media and not from the player himself.
“I know where he is now – via the media,” said Howe. “So I think from that perspective, it's hard to go in every type of detail.”
The 25-year-old has informed Newcastle that he wants to explore his options in this transfer window after Liverpool had previously given an informal approach for him.

Analysis: Why Isak has been worked
Sky Sports Data Editor Adam Smith:
Alexander Isak scored 23 goals in the Premier League last season – the second only for Mohamed Salah.
The Sweden International also surpassed its expected goals (20.42) and underlined its finish and calmness at elite level for the goal.
The 25-year-old finds consistent space around the penalty place, where he converts a large part of his shots. But he is much more than a syruper: six of his 36 efforts from outside the box found it – that demonstrates its reach and technology.
The graph below Benchmarks Isak's statistics per 90 against other strikers in Europe's top five competitions. He excels over a broad spectrum of goals and dribbling into opposition box entries and play-up.
Newcastle offers on Sesko – what does that mean for Isak?
Newcastle has made a formal offer for RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko.
Sky Sports News understands that the offer is € 75 million (£ 65.5 million) plus € 5 million (£ 4.3 million) in ADD -us – that corresponds to the valuation of Leipzig.
Newcastle has presented their vision to the Slovenian striker and wants the deal to happen.
Sesko is also considering his options at Manchester United at the table. The player is open to both projects and remains a top objective for Manchester United.
It was thought that man would have to sell Utd to get a striker. Although the priority is to discharge players, it is understood that Man can buy Utd before selling – on condition that there is sale before the window closes.
It is understood that RB Leipzig is interested in Man Utd striker Rasmus Hojlund and investigated the conditions of a loan.
Howe: Newcastle only looking for the best
Howe added that Newcastle only “is looking for the best” in terms of transfer goals in the midst of a challenging window for the club.
Not only are the magpies struck with the wish of Isak to leave, but they have also missed a number of transfer goals for rivals, including Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Ekitike and James Trafford.
Newcastle has also beaten a roadblock in their pursuit of Brentford Vooruit Yoane Wissa. With Callum Wilson who left earlier this summer, it just leaves Will Osula as their only recognized first-team striker during their pre-season tour through Asia.
“We are looking for the best players we can get,” said Howe. “Whatever our goal position, we are looking for the best, so I see all the situations open and available to us.
“I feel that that is the only way we want to go where we want to, namely maximize, and the quality of quantity. It has always been. That has always been the way we try to work and the way we try to recruit, and I think we've done it pretty well so far.
“It has been a challenging summer, because we have missed different goals for various reasons, but we are still very competitive, and we are still in an attempt to bring very good players to the club – and that will not change to the window.”
