After he broke up with the UFC in 2022, there was a lot of talk about Nate Diaz who may return to the promotion.
Despite the fact that he only competes in two boxing matches since he was the last to step the Octagon, the 40-year-old remains one of the biggest stars in MMA.
As a result, Diaz was set up in 2026 for the UFC event in the White House, with the feeling that an event of this size could bring it back to one of the many huge matchups.
Since Diaz has sent a message to Max Holloway after the recent successful defending defense of the BMF champion, this has again been a conversation point in the afterput of UFC 318.
Someone to whom he is closely connected also tries to put together a UFC Comback that has proven himself on the regional scene after he was cut out of the grid in 2022.

Nick Maximov continues to achieve regional victories after the disappointments of UFC and PFL
At the age of 27, Nick Maximov has already experienced a number of important ups and downs in his career.
He arrived for the first time in the UFC in 2021 with a lot of talking around him because of his status as Nate Diaz's Protégé and a fellow member of the Nick Diaz Army.
While his run started promising in the promotion with back-to-back victories, two consecutive losses led Maximov to be surprisingly cut out of the grid after he lost his unbeaten streak.
He bounced back from this setback by putting together different victories in promotions such as Fury FC and the A1 fight from Urijah Faber before he received an offer from the PFL.
Maximov did not compete for the PFL, despite the fact that he was planned at a certain stage to step in as a middleweight alternative and a late notification that he struck, so that the promotion said goodbye.
Looking to get his career back on the right track, he recently returned to the promotion of Faber, where he successfully defended his welterweight title and beat Renato Valente via a unanimous decision in the main event of A1 Combat 29 on August 1.
Nick Maximov claimed that his goal is still to return to the UFC
In an interview with MMA Junkie, Nick Maximov spoke about his departure from both the UFC and PFL and how that has influenced his career.
He has experienced many setbacks and career adjustments, but the 27-year-old now hopes that he is back to the Octagon.
Maximov told MMA Junkie that the UFC is still his goal and he hopes that his decision to sign briefly with the PFL will not influence this.
“We're going to photograph for the UFC,” said Maximov. “That is the goal and has always been the goal. Hopefully this will show that I want to go to the UFC more than anything, instead of going to their rival.”
