Isak arrives at Newcastle after jetting off to La Real for individual training

Newcastle -striker Alexander Isak has returned to the club's training field after he had gone AWOL in an attempt to secure a move to Liverpool.

Isak flew to Spain to use the facilities in his former club Real Sociedad last week, but inquired manager Eddie Howe or someone else in Newcastle that he would be absent.

The 25-year-old missed the Newcaslte tour through the Far East when he called a thigh problem, but he was then not found injured.

As reported by Sky Sports, Isak is now set up or talks to Howe about his future.

The rest of the Newcastle team released the day off this morning after returning from South Korea.

Liverpool had rejected a first bid of £ 110 million for Isak last week.
