Inzaghi admitted on Tuesday evening that Inter was not good enough, as they lost 1-0.
The Nerazzurri coach later said: “We weren't good enough offensively.
“We didn't show enough today to beat a team with their qualities. Our goal remains direct qualification through a place in the top eight and that is still very possible.
“Leverkusen played well today, with a lot of pace. It is clear that you cannot completely avoid opportunities against such a team. It is of course bitter that the goal came so close to the end.”
