Chelsea set to make another summer sale as Everton enter talks with £30m player

Everton started conversations to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall with Chelsea who is willing to permanently sell the midfielder for a year after he signed him for £ 30 million.

It comes after manager David Moyes encouraged the Merseyside club to hurry to protect him signing sessions for the following season.

Dewsbury-Hall made only two Premier League startingist for Chelsea in the previous term when they finished fourth, but was much more dependent on their triumphant run in the Conference League.

The 26-year-old Englishman was also useful for manager Enzo Maresca to convey his first ideas, after he had previously played under him in Leicester City.

Chelsea would like to earn back similar money if the £ 30 million they have paid when signing the foxes and the negotiations are underway.

However, Everton is not alone to have asked for Dewsbury-Hall.

Chelsea is now going to work with expenditure with an agreement for Burnley to sign Lesley Ugochukwu, 21, permanently. Armando Broja is also on his way to the newly promoted Premier League club.

The blues have already sold Marcus Bettinelli, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Bashir Humphreys, Mathis Amougou, Dorde Petrovic, Noni Madueke and Joao Felix this summer.

Elsewhere Carney Chukwuemeka, 21, is in conversation to draw for Borussia Dortmund.

The players of Chelsea who participated in the Club World Cup returned on Monday for their first preseason in Cobham, with less than two weeks until their Premier League opener versus Crystal Palace.
