Benoit Saint-Denis’s former rival details why he expects a swift KO loss to Mauricio Ruffy at UFC Paris

The skills of Mauricio Ruffy have very concerned the former enemy of Benoit Saint-Denis for UFC Paris.

Benoit Saint-Denis, one of the most dangerous lightweight KO artists in the UFC Lightweight Division, will be confronted with an exciting test against Mauricio Ruffy in UFC Paris. The two lightweight contenders are provided on a stacked map in Paris, headed by a middleweight battle with a high bet.

Saint-Denis recovered from two KO losses with an explicit performance at UFC 315 earlier this year, albeit at a discount on a short-check-replacement opponent. This time Saint-Denis will want to have a better outing in Paris after a TKO loss in his last Octagon performance in his home country.

Before his recent up and down run, Saint-Denis was praised as a potential future champion because of his brutal power and cruelty. Those labels now fit appropriate for his upcoming rival, Ruffy, for Paris.

Renato Moicano has little faith in Benoit Saint-Denis prior to Mauricio Ruffy Fight

Ruffy, who rides on a seven-fermenting streak and fresh from a wild knockout victory over Bobby Green on UFC 313, is correct on the door of lightweight title conflicts. But on the other hand, it is a huge opportunity for Saint-Denis to return to the title photo and to stop the rise of Ruffy.

Despite what is at stake, one of the former rivals of Saint-Denis is not for his chances.

In a recent interview about the Ariel Helwani show, UFC Lightweight Competier Renato Moicano shared a grim prediction for the coming fight by Saint-Denis with Ruffy.

“I don't think that card is on the table, I don't think Ruffy loses BSD,” said Micano.

“No chance. I think [Ruffy] BSD will break apart in the first round. I think Ruffy, he is the future of the lightweight division, he is pretty good. I know he wasn't tested, but because there were many things going on.

“Bobby Green is not an easy guy to turn out, and he did it in the first round. Of course Bobby Green is a little older now, but I think Ruffy is the real deal.”

Moicano has plenty of reasons to feel extremely confident in Ruffy for UFC Paris. Ruffy is one of the many Dana White's Contender Series -Alums to have a quick impact on the UFC selection.

Saint-Denis' second round entry from Kyle Prepolec on UFC 315 showed a unique perspective for the skills of the Frenchman who has not so far confronted Ruffy in his UFC official period. He has the opportunity to stop Ruffy's Conor McGregor-like turnout with authority.

Mauricio Ruffy where the comparisons of Conor McGregor with UFC Rise

Ruffy's striking technology, views and back tattoos have encouraged some to compare the talented Brazilian with McGregor. Just like the start of McGregor's UFC career, Ruffy started his UFC official period on a wild knock -outstreak, in which he completed Jamie Mullarkey and Raimond Magomedalieviev.

Despite the ties between Ruffy and McGregor, their fighting activity could not be different in recent years. McGregor has not fought anymore since he injured his leg against Dustin Poirier on UFC 264, but teases a comeback next summer.

Ruffy promised to get 'revenge' for McGregor to promise Khabib Nurmagomedov's Understudy, Islam Makhachev, to Knock -out in a potentially fight. McGregor and Nurmagomedov share one of the darkest quarrels of the UFC that continues years after their UFC 229 fight.

Although the McGregor comparisons may be premature, Ruffy's talent is not disputable and he will want to continue his hot streak at the expense of Saint-Denis.
