Michael 'Venom' page is only open to a yielding return for one huge UK showdown.
The middleweight transformation of Michael 'Venom' is a good start after he had defeated Shara 'Bullet' Magomedov in UFC Saudi Arabia earlier this year. But Page will be confronted with a steep climb in competition while preparing for former title championship Jared Cannonier on UFC 319.
Page vs. Cannonier is one of the most intriguing fights on a stacked map on UFC 319. A victory over a top candidate such as Cannonier would propel Page in the middleweight title interview.
Despite the success of Page in this new company, he is open to the 170 pound division for a fight he had wanted for years.

Michael 'Venom' Page Eyes Leon Edwards Matchup for one -off Welterweight Return
During his short UFC -Weltergewig -official period, Page Kevin Holland defeated before he had a close loss of Ian Machado Garry on UFC 303.
In a recent interview about the Ariel Helwani show, Page revealed the only fight that would lead him to return to the Welterweight division.
“I am in for big fighting, and at the same time I want to reach a title fight,” said Page.
“How I see it now is that I can fight a person in both divisions, and depending on what is the best path for the top, which also includes exciting fights.
“Next year … For example, they would like to go back to the UK. I still think that a Leon Edwards fight is a great fight for the UK.”
Page then clarified if the fight with Leon Edwards were in his new division.
“And that will of course be with goodweight. So if that is offered to me, I would accept 100 percent battles,” said Page. “I actually want it in the United Kingdom, so technically it would not have been in place until next year.
“I think everything is timing, I think that if it connects for next year, it would be perfect.”
Earlier this year, Edwards did not fight since a loss of entry to Sean Brady at UFC London. Last year he lost the UFC Welterweight title to Belal Muhammad on UFC 304, after successful title defense against Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington.
Michael 'Venom' page vs. Leon Edwards would be one of the largest fighting in the UK
A collision between Page and Edwards, two of the most dynamic strikers in MMA, would add fuel to the rise of the sport in the UK. Although he is beyond his physical prime, Page is still a dangerous puzzle in the middleweight and has sustained an important fan base.
Page is also interested in increasing a different weight class to combat former UFC Light Heavyweight Champ, Jiri PrOCHAZKA. PrOCHAZKA briefly teased a switch to middleweight before he agreed later this year with his light heavyweight return to UFC 320.
Edwards provides a return to the Octagon later this year, despite recent calls to retirement by Fans Online. Edwards recently shared that he is talking to the UFC to book a fight with Garry for his return.
If Page is successful in its upcoming middleweight fight, the timeline for a potential Edwards collision can be pushed back. The following battles of Edwards and Page can go a long way to determine whether or not the All-UK matchup flourishes.
