Hojlund's attitude this summer was to stay in Old Trafford, and he told reporters in July: “My plan is very clear and that is for me to stay and fight for my place, no matter what happens.”
According to Fourfourtwo, it is an admirable attitude to assume. When Hojlund arrived, he was tipped as one of the most exciting talents in Europe, and he is desperate to prove that, but it might be better to do it elsewhere.
The pressure of playing for Manchester United is huge, and going back to Italy, or even Germany can get the best out of him. A loan movement would enable him to learn for a year or two before he really accepts the Premier League. However, it is believed that Man United would like him to continue permanently.
