Arman Tsarukyan claims Khamzat Chimaev needs controlling during fight camp due to previous health issues

During his UFC official period, Khamzat Chimaev has been one of the most unreliable stars in the promotion.

Later this month, Khamzat Chimaev will finally fight for UFC Gold after years of what an inevitability seemed when he accepts Dricus du Plessis in the UFC 319 Main Event.

The last outing of Chimaev came to UFC 308 last October when he crushed Robert Whittaker's jaw in what was the biggest victory of his career so far, finally earned a shot in the title.

Although 'Borz's' UFC career looks like it went smoothly because of his undefeated record, it certainly came with his honest share of adversity.

According to teammate, Chimaev has to check in Vechtkamp

There was a period in 2020-2021 when the Chechen continuously became in question after publication, who at one point endangered his career and announced his retirement of the sport prematurely.

Although he made his comeback shortly thereafter, Chimaev continued to face health problems and at one point placed a number of grim images on his social media after he was admitted to the hospital by a kind of infection.

After years of not being able to put his finger on what his health complications caused, Chimaev made the daring decision to change his coaches and claimed that his earlier coaches were training him for 'exhaustion'.

And with that, prior to his fight against 'Still Knocks', most of the Vechtkamp in Chimaev took place from the rural mountains in Russia, where he was reunited with his old wrestling coach.

Someone who helped Chimaev to prepare for the biggest fight of his career, is UFC lightweight competitor Arman Tsarukyan, who claims that Chimaev must 'control' so that he has not trained too much as before.

“He does not reach his peak because he likes to train a lot, he has to be stopped during the training camp,” Tsarukyan began to explain in an interview with Kamil Gadzhiev.

“Khamzat needs a man next to him who checks him 24/7 and holds him back so that he does not get over,” he continued.

Khamzat Chimaev better takes care of his time for UFC 319

Prior to his title fight in Chicago, Chimaev explains a big price in his time. The middleweight star was reportedly invited to participate in a live stream with the friend of Dana White, Adin Ross.

The Chimaev manager, however, demanded that 'Borz' was paid $ 700,000, causing Ross to be blown and eventually did not flourish.
