Only boxer to face both Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford shares prediction for the biggest fight of 2025

Amir Khan has shared his thoughts about the coming fight between two of his former opponents.

The British boxing legend was famous eliminated when he fought against Canelo Alvarez in May 2016.

Three years later, Terence Crawford was booed loudly after a low blow to Ko Khan when they collided with the WBO Welterweight title.

Now the only man who has fought both Canelo and Terence Crawford has unveiled his choice for their superfight on September 13.

Amir Khan chooses Terence Crawford to beat Canelo Alvarez

Amir Khan knows how difficult it is to step into weight for a fight with Canelo Alvarez.

Yet he believes that Terence Crawford has what is needed to achieve an upset victory next month.

“There are weights for a reason in boxing,” Khan recently told The Ring.

I have enormous respect for Crawford for showing the balls and fighting a beast such as Canelo.

“Perhaps Crawford sees something in Canelo that others don't see, and that he is beyond his date of sale. And maybe Crawford is the man who catches him at the right time. Let's look, I think it's a brilliant fight.

“I am going to support my boy, Terence Crawford. He is a good friend of mine. I think he can do it. He has a great box -IQ, his IQ is perfect and he can see everything.

“Crawford touches hard. Many people give Crawford no honor for the Punch -Power he has.

“I have been in the ring with him, he has hit me hard. It is clear that the most powerful hunter between the two Canelo will be, but I think Crawford still has enough power to hurt Canelo and push him back, and that he is a challenge for him.”

Dana White moves to boxing

Dana White will supervise Canelo vs. Crawford, that will be his first event as an official boxing promoter.

The UFC -CEO went in when a fight almost broke out at a launch conference in June.

In just six weeks, everyone will go aside to have Alvarez and Crawford act in the largest battle of 2025.

Only then will we find out whether Khan's unique perspective on the matchup was one to listen to.
